Homegoing Services for Ethel Frances “Kitty” Gaudlock

Mrs. Ethel Frances Gaudlock, known to many as “Kitty”, was born on June 3, 1942 to the late Frank L. Sims and Bobbie Catherine Jackson. She ran into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, March 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymon Gaudlock, Sr.; sisters, Mildred Jackson, Corine Lott, and Willie Ree Jackson.

Frances was a lifelong resident of Gainesville, GA where she served as a Stewardess at Hickory Grove CME Church until she was no longer able to serve.  She devoted much of her life to her employer, Conagra for over 30 years.  She enjoyed many hobbies which included cleaning, cooking, and caring for others.  Frances had a passion for people.  She was filled with love and the abundant love she gave is everlasting for so many.  What a great reflection of Jesus Christ she was.  “It is not a goodbye, but LOVE!”

Mrs. Gaudlock is survived by three daughters: Gloria (Paul) Wilmont, Barbara Gaudlock and Sheila (Darin) Stephens; three sons, Raymon Gaudlock, Jr., Tracy Gaudlock, and John Gaudlock; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one special grandson, Jamarien Gaudlock; sisters, Peggy Jackson, Minister Linda Akonchong, Brenda Carter, and Janice Cox; brothers, Rev. D. T. Jackson and Jerry Jackson; special friends, Diane Quinn Marlow, Dot Edmond, and Barbara Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 11am at Hickory Grove CME Church, Dalonega. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 2pm-7pm. The family will receive family and friends from 5pm-7pm. Dexter T. Sims Mortuary, LLC, Gainesville, has charge of arrangements.
