Mattie Henderson Eley was born on May 14, 1940, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Mattie went on to become the devoted and beloved wife of James F. Eley, sharing a bond built on love, faith, and commitment throughout their years together. She was called home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2026. Mattie’s memory will be forever cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Arrangements are entrusted to Dexter T. Sims Mortuary, LLC. Memorial service will be held Saturday August 8, 2026 at 3pm at Donald Trimble Mortuary, Inc 1876 2nd Avenue Decatur, GA 30032.
