Ms. Marilyn Teasley was born on August 30, 1956 in Royston, GA to the late Harold Teasley and the late Gladys Mayfield Teasley. She departed this life on April 8, 2024.
At a young age, Marilyn was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church and attended Royston Grove Baptist Church. Later in life, she became a faithful member of House of Hope in Anderson, SC. She was a graduate of Franklin County High School Class of 1976. Marilyn worked as a CNA in the medical field. She worked in this profession for over 30 years. She was employed by Brown Memorial Convalescent Center and The Gables located in Royston, GA.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughter, Kendra Teasley of Royston, GA; sons, Randrick and Demetrius Teasley, both of Royston, GA; granddaughters, Makiya and McKenzie Teasley, both of Canon, GA; sisters, Ann Maxwell, Sarah Turner, Mary Hughes, and Pam Teasley, all of Royston, GA; brothers, Harold Teasley, Jr of Royston, GA and Ray Teasley of Norcross, GA; special friend, Prophet John Baker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday April 13, 2024 at 2pm at Flat Rock CME Church. Burial will be in Brown Grove Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday April 12, 2024 from 3pm-6pm.
